North Point Cafe in Denton donated more than $200 in school supplies today in support of Denton County Mental Health and Mental Retardation Center's school supply drive. Denton Independent School District starts classes on Aug. 7.
"As a parent, I know how expensive going back to school can be each year," said Ali Kohandani of Corinth, owner of both North Point and the DoubleDave's Pizzaworks franchise in Denton. "This is our way of making the back-to-school tradition a bit easier for a few students and their parents."
North Point is at 2000 W. University Drive.
