The Bishop Dunne Middle School Soccer team will be playing in the DPL Championship game on Thursday June 4 at 6:00 p.m. The Middle School football and basketball teams also made it to the championship games, and the Middle School Track team won the championship this year.
Bishop Dunne Falcons in Middle School DPL Soccer Championship Game
“The middle school athletes at Bishop Dunne Catholic School keep on impressing us,” says Middle School Athletic Director Stephen Guerrero. “First the championship game in football last fall, then the championship game in basketball, then a DPL track championship, and now they are in the DPL soccer championship game.”
The Bishop Dunne 7th/8th varsity team beat St. Patrick’s on Tuesday, 4-0. The next day the team beat St. Pius in the penalty kick round after the teams tied at 1 - 1.
The team is now in the DPL championship game to be played Friday, June 4th, 6 p. m. against the team from St. Monica's at the University of Texas at Dallas.
Coach Guerrero says, “Come out and support them if you can. It would be great to have a big crowd supporting them!”
